Kapuskasing doesn't have its own campsites, but don't sweat it! Just a short hop away is the charming town of Moonbeam, where you'll find some awesome campgrounds. It's the perfect mix of adventure and chill vibes, set right in the beautiful Boreal Forest and by Remi Lake.

René Brunelle Provincial Park

Just 20 minutes east of Kapuskasing on Remi Lake in Moonbeam, this park is a haven for campers, whether in tents, campers, or RVs. Fish enthusiasts can enjoy catching walleye, northern pike, and small-mouth bass. The park offers rentals for motorboats, canoes, kayaks, and bikes.

 

Open from May to September, the park boasts 112 well-maintained campsites. Amenities include a comfort station with washrooms, showers, and a laundromat, boat launching facilities, access to the Moonbeam Nature Trails, playgrounds, and numerous beaches.

 

René Brunelle Provincial Park is a cherished retreat for both locals and tourists, promising an idyllic vacation experience.

Twin Lakes Camping

Also located in Moonbeam, this family-friendly site operates during the summer season. Twin Lakes Camping features two man-made lakes with three beaches, a 220-ft. waterslide, and three smaller slides in the main beach area. Additional facilities include playgrounds, RV  and tent campsites, laundry and washroom facilities, a chip stand, two cozy bunkies and a unique train camper available for rental.
