The arena boasts two skating rinks and five curling surfaces, accommodating a range of activities from hockey to figure skating, and even recreational skating. The Sports Palace is fully wheelchair accessible and offers amenities such as meeting rooms, a kitchen, a stage, and a sound system. Baseball Diamonds
Annually, the Kapuskasing recreation department diligently preps our baseball diamonds, gearing up for another exciting summer of slow-pitch leagues that captivate our enthusiastic residents.

Golf Club
Founded in 1937, the Kapuskasing Golf Club is a testament to the natural beauty of Northern Ontario. Offering a target-style golf experience, this course is seamlessly integrated into the dense forest landscape. Golfers of all skill levels will find themselves challenged by the mature trees and strategically placed sand traps on nearly every hole.
The course showcases the region's characteristic wooded terrain, with gentle elevation changes. Fairways are relatively narrow, and the moderate-sized greens feature poa annua grass. Outdoor Ice Rink & Sliding Hill
Murdock Hill is a beloved winter destination for kids and families, perfect for post-school, post-dinner, and weekend adventures. It's where the laughter of children fills the air as they bring their crazy carpets, toboggans, and saucers for snowy thrills.
Additionally, Kapuskasing boasts the Murdock Skating Rink, a fantastic outdoor facility situated atop Murdock Hill, just across from André Cary elementary school. This skating rink is complete with a warm-up shack, and the best part is, admission is entirely free!
Soccer Fields
